The word muse has a plethora of meanings. When it refers to a person, it can mean that they are a source of inspiration and creativity. It’s a word that has come to life on a personal level over the past year. Don’t they say that you won’t work a day in your life if you love what you do? Well that’s perfect, I love what I do and feel so lucky to have been a part of the Muse Group team. Where to even begin when it comes to my time here…
It all started with seeing a post on Facebook seeking an intern, and I immediately knew I wanted to apply. Who wouldn’t want to be on a famous Tipsy Tuesday? After rereading my email about a hundred and fifty times, I sent it off and let it take its course. When I first met the Muse Group team, I without a doubt knew that the possibilities were endless with what I could learn. I was so excited to just simply be in the office with everyone at my own cute, little desk DJing with some upbeat jams on the bluetooth speaker. There was not a second to waste; Jaclyn, the boss babe of Muse Group, allowed me the opportunity to jump right into everything. From going to client events to drafting up press releases, I was able to really get first hand experience with real work. I have been able to practice writing pitches, press releases, media advisories, blogs, social media captions, event descriptions, as well as taking part in content gathering photo shoots. I love having the chance to get to know our clients, interact with them in meetings and at events, and see their businesses prosper. With each changing month, there were new challenges that allowed me the opportunity to grow more than I could have ever imagined.
Not a day has gone by where I haven’t learned something new from the women at Muse Group. Our team has grown, our skills have sharpened, and we are quite the force to be reckoned with. One thing that I love the most is getting to see the progression of signing on a new client, working on their brand through team brainstorm sessions, thinking of creative concepts and ideas, and seeing our work come to life as something the client loves for their business. Team work really does make the dream work, especially when you’re surrounded by a kick butt team like one here at Muse Group. What a blast this past year has been, the countless laughs, coffee runs, uber eats orders, events, and moments that I will always cherish. Thank you to the lovely ladies of Muse Group for brightening each day and bringing so much creativity into the world. Now, don’t forget about little old me!
